Short-term contract opportunity for independent advertising sales professional with a passion for Portland.

We are seeking an independent contractor for 4-5 week project that will take place during March/early April, 2010 with potential for future opportunities.

You should be an experienced advertising sales/ account servicing professional with a basic understanding of working with image files (do you know your jpg from your eps? can you determine resolution of a print file?).

The ideal fit will enjoy interacting with people, be self-motivated, organized, positive (the glass is definitely half full), fluent in MS office software, and passionate about Portland and supporting locally-owned businesses. Compensation is commission-based.
