Fundraising Sales Representative
Part time, flexible position – help local schools & churches raise funds with the SunriseGuide
The SunriseGuide, southern Maine’s guide for healthy and eco-friendly living, currently has openings for fundraising sales representatives for the fall and winter season.
In this position, you will help schools and non-profit organizations raise much-needed funds through our SunriseGuide fundraising program.
Compensation is commission-based and the hours are flexible. Must have own transportation and cell phone. Work from our office or your home office.
You will work primarily with school groups, booster clubs, sports teams, and churches.
Qualifications: You should have previous sales or customer service experience and be comfortable making presentations to student and adult groups. In addition, you should possess the following skills and qualities: professional demeanor, enjoy interacting with people, self-motivated, organized, positive (the glass is definitely half full), fluent in MS office computer software.
Preferable qualifications/skills: actively involved in the community, and experience in teaching or education, working with middle and high school aged students, experience with school systems in southern Maine, experience with contact management database (ACT or other).
